She is also a Finalist for the Vystar Duval County Public
School’s Teacher of the Year! Her work centers on confidence-building, belief-shaping, and whole-child development.
PeTika is known for her interactive, engaging, and inspiring speaking style. Through professional learning experiences, school visits, corporate workshops, and community initiatives, she helps schools and organizations build environments where both children and adults love themselves inside and out, just
the way they are! She has reached thousands of children, hundreds of educators, and tons of families through author visits, district events, literacy initiatives, and other programs.
